The past week has been mad hectic. So much stuff going on so much stress and so little sleep.

Anyways I went for two runs with the relay team over the weekend - finally killed the inertia to start exercising again. (Good job, self) This whole period of being inactive and sickly has rendered me rather weak; I feel a bit stronger working out now.

Going to finish up on bmo readings and start on my psych textbook. It occurred to me yesterday that cny's next week. My mummy asked if I'll be back home soon and I was like, mom.. I'm still having school. Haha. Will buy some new clothes on thurs and head home for a long weekend (:

" But on top of that, I found that the whole experience gave me a lot of confidence. You can't possibly change yourself to try gel with every new person you meet, so you end up being even more you somehow. And part of that means not pretending to enjoy activities or situations you don't like. So I found myself literally walking out on my friends during several occasions . Not in a hissy fit, but just a matter of fact departure when I genuinely wasn't having fun - like when you find yourself sitting in a cloud of lung cancer when you end up in a smoking bar or when some skank decides to hijack by insisting she speaks only Spanish with your other native spanish speaking friends when she knows perfectly well you don't. Heidelberg was the place I discovered that I could walk off with every confidence of immediately finding yet another group of people to have fun with. My real inner dork is not actually apparent to the world!

More importantly, it also taught me that the people who like you don't hold these things against you. There isnt any awkwardness or bitchinesss because its not the person being rejected, but the activity. And the people who really like you - they try change things for you or come after you when you walk. This surprised me, because it gave me proof or validation when I wasn't even seeking to test it. I learned that your true friends will always make themselves known. "

Had to cancel breakfast and movie date today cause I'm down w/ flu and fever. Gosh I've been so sickly. Fussing about bidding and moving into school residence and summer school doesn't help either. Sigh I just want to be all well and eat this:

Christmas celebrations started out on a happy note w/ the canoeists (:

Christmas eve w/ the bay (:

cbay invited me to her church on christmas eve and we brought gifts to her church for orphans. b/c she had to check her email at her workplace we headed to town - and began our christmas tree photo taking trail :p
we took a photo w/ each tree we saw but we got stuck at taka - like a total human roadblock we couldn't move at all D:

think we got 6 or 7 trees in the end ;)

We had a very nice brunch at marche and watched mi4 after. The movie was so gripping i have no idea how she fell asleep halfway haha. Then we had dinner at kim gary (the food's so good!) - and that's when the horror started.

I started feeling vv cold and getting these spasms and muscle aches. Then I got fever when I reached home. My brain was fried for a few hours before my parents decided they're not gonna let the sloth in me sleep my fever away so we went to a 24/7 clinic at an ungodly 3 am to see a doc. The diagnose was a vv bad case of viral infection and i was sent home w/ fever med, 3 strong painkillers and an exoribitant bill.

For the next 3 days I was writhing away in pain w/ on-off fever, terrible headaches and tummyaches. I got really annoyed so I went back to the doc. the new diagnose - stomach flu. D: (ah well i didn't have tummyache the first time i was there so i guess the doc couldn't pinpoint) never had stomach flu before either so idk how it's like.

Anyhow I feel so toxic cause I discovered plantar warts on my toe on christmas morning eeewww gross. I'm like a deadly living host for these viruses D: STOMACH FLU SUCKS. WARTS SUCK.

My torment should be ending tmw. Have yourself a merry little christmas.

Eewon said that we needed to be more adventurous, so we decided to head to ecp on weds to cycle. She wanted to wear a nice top & denim shorts but I was like, why do you need to be pretty when we're gonna cycle & perspire.. we should just wear comfy tee shirts and fbts! In the end we failed to convince each other - she had no sports attire anyways, lol.

To flag off our neighbourly adventure we stopped by town to grab lunch - chicken rice at lucky plaza (cause i was in cui (but comfy) clothes i refuse to walk ard other parts of town like that) yums (: We cycled for about 3 hours & i was busy applying sunblock & downing water like a hippo each time we stopped.
Had yummy dinner at ecp lagoon food centre - was insanely full.

Eewen started aching on our way home & I got these crampy aches after my shower so i thought i was gonna ache badly the next day too. Well in the middle of the night the both of us were rudely awaken by these terrible cramps in our thighs. Geez. I was sure i couldn't walk again :o

Anyhow we were alot better the next day & I popped over to her place to hangout. We uh, cooked and watched one day & survivor & made cheesecake.

What's up folks. It just hit me in class today the semester is almost ending - well guess this sem has been pretty great so far and I'm just really really happy most days (seems like i've been counting my blessings a lot lately .. no idea where this is coming from tho lol). Been very busy - still very busy actl - swamped w/ work & meetings & what not but oh well life's good.

Had dinner w/ my sis at the famous Japan curry house CoCoICHIBANYA at 313. It was pretty good - my sis and I shared a standard pork cutlet w/ an additional shrimp cutlet - I like the shrimp cutlet better! Was insanely full even though we shared the meal.

We shopped around for my dress for eons but I couldn't find one I like so we gave up and headed to Old Town White Coffee instead :p

Wanted to do a post earlier on Erwin's solemnization but I had to study for exams - well here it is:

The venue was nicely decorated and it was just w/ family & their best men & bridesmaids. The food was awesome btw

Anyhow, I've always wondered why Sakae's mascot is a frog - like what has sushi got to do w/ a frog right lol. But well I got my answer and I was pretty impressed tbh. If you put your thumb over the frog's head, you'll see that it resembles a bowl full of rice, and it's "man" which means full in chinese. It also looks like a gold ingot. Then you shift your thumb to cover the frog's feet, the head and the body resembles the number 8 which sounds like "fa" in chinese and it means prosperity. The frog's eyes are suppose to symbolise management and the board overseeing the company. And - it's a frog b/c the company wants to progress in leaps and bounds - like a frog! lolol. And green is the corporate color b/c Sakae's into sustainable development. So much meaning eh :p

We had the marshmallow challenge where we had to build a free standing structure w/ 20 spaghetti & a metre long tape w/ some raffia - and your marshmallow is suppose to rest on top. The marshmallow wasn't all light and fluffy as you'd think it was so heavy it broke one of our spaghetti pillar (alas! lol) but we managed to make it stand for the few seconds our prof was measuring the height of our structure hehe. And guess what - we got the tallest structure *grins*. My prof decided to double the rewards so my group could choose to get a $100 brozeit voucher or have a 2 hour personal career development session w/ him (lololol) among other things. in case you're interested our marshmallow was at the top not resting on the table as you see in the photo hehe.

Been watching too many movies.

So I came home this evening to see this tiny rabbit looking creature outside my window

Probably fell in and couldn't get out

I tried to use a spade to lift it up but it got scared so i left the spade there to let it climb out.

I kinda look through my window once in a while to see if it has gotten out but it was still there and it started burrowing into the leaves.

Then night came and i thought it might be cold so i wanted to drop my unwanted sweater down for it.. All I saw was

Woke up this morning with an aching right arm. Then I rmbed I fell down last night.

Less than two hours later, I added a huge bruise to my knee. cause I slipped on ice. Again.

Anyway I've been trying to write my reports. But CCM's so useless I got bored writing my own report. So i ended up watching Top Chef heh. Antonia got eliminated D: "felt like when your first boyfriend breaks up (sic) with you you wake up in the middle of the night crying. i don't want to feel that way ever again." oh man so sad. I hope Richard wins btw.

I was walking towards the cafeteria at another building to get dinner when I saw this guy sitting on the steps and he was kind of shifting himself downwards. Then he got up and walked away.

'Weird guy,' I thought. I bought my subway and was heading back to class when I got to the same flight of steps... Slipped on ice and bum-slided my way to the bottom - and landed on my laptop and phone D: The ppl ard me got pretty alarmed lol I had to tell them thrice that I was okay (actually I wasn't my butt was hurting and my hand was smarting like crazy.) And in case you are interested I managed to save my subway. it got a little squashed.

Told a few of my friends what happened when I got to class and guess what they fell at the same spot as well lol.

On an unrelated note, I found out that I've to pay like $750 for my casebooks D: cases for 3 months btw. My friend had to pay $930 cause he had to study more cases. Poor thing lol.

I just survived a blizzard and there's a snow storm brewing outside my house right now.

Okay I exaggerated. But what in the world it's about eight days to spring yet everything was smothered by snow when I woke up this morning. (It was pretty though)

Anyhow I was waiting in town for my bus but it didn't come. got fed up and decided to walk home - which was, a terribly bad idea. I must had taken a wrong turn somewhere cause suddenly my surroundings seemed so unfamiliar- all i could see were my boots cause i had to pull my hood over.

The snow and wind got heavier and I was a little scared when I looked up into the distance cause I couldn't see anything except snow tornadoes swirling in front of me. Frantically hailed a cab (lol there was another passenger but the driver let me hop on cause she "ain't want to leave you out there in the cold"). So glad to be home right now. Hot bath + cinnamon raisin bagel! :D

Not sure whether this excessive blowing of my nose's sheer sign of an extremely bad cold or the fact that I am dying.

There wasn't much the doc could do except tell me, 'drink lots of fluids, get plenty of rest'. Which I did. Totally taped my mouth to the tap and collapsed onto bed. Took a 13 hour nap - basically slept from ytd afternoon till this morning - and here I am in school barely breathing. All this sneezing and wheezing have left my nose smarting like hell ):

I was this close to skipping school today but I've 4 giant classes from 8 am till 9 pm. Now that I am barely surviving morning lessons think I'm gonna give night lesson a miss.

Got to head off to the next class ):

"For Western students, “Snowmageddon: The Sequel” turned out to be a big letdown. Despite predictions of up to 40 cm of snow Tuesday night, Wednesday morning revealed the storm had all but missed London."

After all the excitement in school & on facebook about Snow Day (which means no school), seeing the marking and flagging of power and telephone lines, buying comfort food, dreaming about snuggling in bed all day warm and comfy (I even stayed up late to watch the snow blow and hear the wind howl) - the snow storm was - disappointing.

Snowzilla/ snow-verkill/ snOMG/ snowmageddon (whatever the papers called it) was an epic fail. Apparently the storm missed us and our university was the only school w/o a Snow Day. A sad me had to wake up at 6 and trudge to school; I had to hide my face walking to school cause the wind was blowing so hard the snow was literally slapping my face.

Speaking of pain - my neck's all sore right now cause I injured it during gym (again?!) yesterday. So I cancelled my plans to travel to Ottawa and Montreal this weekend cause idk if my neck'd be able to take the trip. Meh. I was in a really bad mood yesterday.

On a much happier note my flight to Orlando & Miami's settled. Yay to holidays. The only thing standing in the way of my happiness now is GMM exam next week :p
Anyway I felt so inspired after my chat w/ Mrs Janzen on Monday - she's a nurse who teaches at a school for children and teenagers with special needs. And she was kind enough to help me seek permission to accompany her to work in March. (: score.

I'm feeling really empty right now because I don't exactly have a wealth of knowledge and insights on pressing world issues and my current knowledge is not gonna help me a teenie bit in penning my position paper. Which is due in 27 hours.

And this afternoon I was thinking about ideas for my group for some idk Dragons' Den pitch thing on renewable energy (what a boring scope) - it failed terribly. Like how am I suppose to come up with some ingenious product to sell within 2 days when my thought process's something like "use water pressure to generate .. generate .. er. Solar energy for heating purposes (being totally creative right here)". Then somehow my thoughts trailed off to thinking about recycling, which was really off topic. Buy me a Japanese inventor please.

On top of these I have yet to prepare and pack for tomorrow's sick schedule - lessons and meetings right from 8am till 9pm. Mehh I have no break at all! ):

The worst part is probably me feeling nothing and not freaking out. It's like .. the calm before the storm.

It's not chilly cold but not comfortable warm in my room even though the heater's working perfectly fine and I'm wearing my cashmere.

Anyway school started and I'm enjoying classes a lot more than when I was studying in NUS. (I still love NUS). Well to begin with the methodology itself is different - lectures and tutorials VS casebooks. A big plus is all hands shoot up but you only get to speak when you're called on - I mean duh, but from a certain module called apb you don't get very polite classmates.

Class contribution is crazy by NUS standards - the weightage, quality and qty. You get to decide if you want to sit for an exam or do a project to count towards your grade. The assignments're varied and interesting - you customise your own project, there's no word/page limit, field trips (and I've one where I can choose to interact with gays but I'm quite clueless as to how to engage in such community). I've a jobshadowing assignment as well and I got a consultant in Toronto (whee!) keeping my fingers crossed that she'll reply to me soon. The downside's reflective papers. pttf. And I didn't take Finance in NUS so I'm dead lost when they talk abt wacc and stuff like that. But it'll all be okay. Hopefully. I'll be an autodidact. Hehe.

The people I've met're rather nice and friendly. I got quite a few of these when they found out I'm Singaporean
a) oh I've been there. It's such a clean city.
b) oh I've been there. You can't chew gum. It's insane.
c) you can't chew gum there right. It's insane.
d) all of the above.

One stranger guy I met in school went, 'omg you're from singapore you can't chew gum. wait I've got one you got to try it'. Haha.

well today I found out why. cause Singapore's a harvard case study in our casebook and apparently it mentioned "orderliness and cleanliness were hallmarks of modern Singapore society, and were strictly compelled by the government ... Fines for ... failing to flush public toilets were stiffed and exercised with alacrity ... banned the import and sale of chewing gum"

I'm almost certain the prof'll call me in class tmw.

Saturday Night Fever

I AM SO FROZEN.

So glad to be home but I'm still so so so so ccold.

Anyhow - it has been a really exciting night! Western's ice hockey team was playing against Laurier's so I decided to go gym (like finally) before watching the match.

The. Gym. Is. Amazing.

And hugeass. It owns AC's supergym twice over and NUS's fish tank gym gazillion times over. The gym has all sorts of state-of-the-art fitness equipment and a whole aisle of weights to select from. Up to the second level and you'll see like 100 different treadmills. And a row of tvs. On the other side there're ergometers and another 100 bike machines. There's a big chillax area and through the huge glass panels you can see the indoor swimming pool and it's so grand but sadly I won't be swimming in it cause I can't swim heh. There're also plenty of studios and a huge huge changing room with lockers and showers with heaters. And of course - they've got the ice rink.

I was very much in awe. And even though it was a Saturday night the gym was filled with lots of people sweating it all out. Not that it was stinky or anything.

So I had my very enjoyable workout then I headed back to the changing room to get ready to watch the match. And be further amazed.

Round the rink they had a live band which was pretty good and a sort of mini funfair where they had inflated castles and slides for kids. And there were free popcorn and cotton candy and bam bams and a very entertaining mascot.

The whole game was rather fast-paced and the puck shoots so fast it gets from player to player in the split of a second. It was a little like skating-puck-rugby when players get cornered to the wall and things got a bit intense when a scuffle broke out. Long story short we lost 2-1 but it was a great match to watch nonetheless. Hmm okay my shoulder is aching right now it has been like that since I got here so I'm gonna go lie down and sleep goodnight.

I just had chicken and potato stew for breakfast yum yum (the owners cooked it for me hehe)

So I am here in Canada after my long long flight. Everything's all nice - the owners, my room, the neighbourhood. The weather's not bad too i can walk outside with 2 sweaters and just jeans but the weather's unpredictable so I've to carry my coat ard.

Anyway I had to apply for some dumb esta at Changi airport even though I don't need visa so it was a mad mad rush and I was sprinting all over the terminal - very breathless. In the end I had to use my own laptop and help another caucasian couple to apply for esta too so after that we all rushed to board our plane. I ran faster than them but idk how they got to the gate earlier than me cause there's only one way to get there .. so I was the last passenger on board.

I sat beside an old lady who's a nun and we had a nice chat. She started telling me about environment conservation and vegetarianism you could almost see the kindness pouring out of her eyes and I'm not being sarcastic. She used to be a doctor and she has family but she got troubled with worldly affairs so she decided to leave her family and country and become a nun. I can never do that - be a nun. Haha. Anyway she said I was very adorable (hehe) and she'd pray for me. Aww.

Transit at hong kong, bought starbucks's turkey-cheese-egg-cranberry-wholemeal sandwich which s'pore doesn't sell- it's so satisfying (plane food sucks - though they were better than the one i had when i flew to china) anyway i saw vanilla bean frappe in the states and the s'pore branches don't sell it either. but i was too full to try it ): i'll see if i can find one here.

My flight got delayed twice when I was in Chicago and I was really hungry so I had fillet-o-fish. It was very salty and not as nice as those in S'pore. The customs officer there asked why am I going to Canada cause "it's no fun up there you should stay here" lmao.

And the malls are open now I'm gonna check them out bye!

oh well technically it's not christmas anymore (no idea what 12 days of christmas are they don't apply to me anyway) but I'm very much in the celebratory mood heh. Anyway I just got back from christmas dinner w/ my relatives. We had a more festive spread for dinner this Christmas - sushi galore, and cakes and strudels and brownies and wine and champange - unlike a certain year when my mum and aunts and uncles got weird and decided to get dozens of packets of zhi char back home =.= kill joy. (food was awesome nonetheless :p)

Earlier delle and I planned our annual db christmas gathering and it turned out pretty awesome whee (: (since many ppl said they had lots of fun i assume it was awesome hehe) well i sure had fun preparing for the party. We had 'Dumb & Dumber' as out party theme so you were suppose to dress up as something dumb/fun/silly/ridiculous. Tada! :

What's up bright and cheery.

The past few days've been fun meeting and catching up w/ friends; but I think my tummy seriously needs a break- don't think I ever ate out so much in a week.

Had burger w/ perera at morton's bar, flew a kite and ate at strictly pancake's & ewf w/ timo, ate at bt timah food centre w/ my teammates, stuffed myself silly w/ eewen at gluttons' bay and gonna meet tongster for dinner later - burp? Haha.

Anyway watched Salt & Letters to Juliet at Delle's stayover last night. And poor delle was tortured by me for 17k today cause I'm so not made for canoeing. I haven't touch a kayak in donkey lightyears and I was hardly a frontman so my direction was atrocious hee. I have blisters everywhere but there's a humongous one on my left heel and it's pretty gross it hasn't stop leaking fluids.

Speaking of trainings the team's training 8 times a week and yours truly went for a grand total of 4 since exams ended. Lazy bum me. And I have no idea how I'm gonna exercise after I leave cause the snow is gonna be at my mid-thigh (it's a freaking snow storm .. the snow's at the guys' knees) But who cares about the snow right cause the cold & wind are what's gonna be killing me. Probably gonna worm up in my room and eat swedish fish all day and grow fat and die x)

I is down w/ flu. And the sloth in me decided not to travel to the 24/7 clinic (it was deepavali yo) - so I decided to check out the pills I dumped at a corner of my shelf - and there was nothing that looked remotely like flu medication except for this huge packet of naproxen sodium tablet i got from the school doctor.

Then i rummaged through my drawer to see if i had other medication - and I got another small packet of naproxen sodium - labelled 'strong painkillers' to be taken with 'gastric pills' from my family doctor. (I got it when I had this bad bad bad headache and nausea after i wolfed down my oatmeal squares. er idk how eating oatmeal squares gave me the headache but yes).

So anyway the point is - the school doctor gave me a really really huge packet (it was for my ankle). without any pills to protect my tummy. how can like that! good thing i went to the sports doc after and stopped taking those pills.

And lest you think I'm some pill junkie the other 'pills' i had are leftover lozengens and panadol. And a bottle of cough syrup (yuck gross)

Guess I felt it when I watched the preview to the opening ceremony last night. It's really nice (: One of the few moments I felt good being involved in YOG.
My grouse? The overly efficient organisers who love to make us wait. Every single practice without fail. Practices during the holidays went like this: wait for one hour to launch off, easy row, wait some more, easy row, wait again, repeat. And this morning, they woke us up at ungodly 1.30 am to wait, then bob up and down on the freezing waters doing nothing till 5 am before they finally started the rehearsal. And I had to drag my sleep-deprived self to lessons after that (it was practice in the wee hours for 2 consec days). First week of school and i'm zombified.

You know how sometimes you just have days that are just full to the brim w/ happiness? When you wake up and feel this overwhelming happiness that shines from every single fiber in your being?

Today is a day just like that (:

So I was in town and I got to try cocoa w/ rock salt and cheese (it was recently featured in the papers). Not bad i think, but i got sick of the cheese after a while. And I ate this korean rice dumpling look alike w/ kimchi chicken wedged in it at isetan and kaya wassant from provence (no more food ban kaya ftw) then more bread and more chicken for dinner. Oh well all the walking made me really hungry.

Anyway this weekend's probably gonna be fun cause I'll be meeting my exchange buddies (from Hungary and Canada). And I'll be playing student host to another girl from Canada so I've plans to bring them ard Singapore. That means eating roti prata and satay and chicken rice all over again heehee. Plus meeting up w/ friends and all - I think i'm just happy i can go out and play and not train or worry about all the deadlines (now all there's left is tutorial bidding, book my flight, buy my clothes and find accomodation).

So here's to more happiness tmw cause I'm gonna meet stevie for movie in the morning and try KFC EGG TARRRT :D

Other than having fun pigging out (i've been a glutton sinner the very day pm cup ended), life hasn't really been awesome with all the panic emails and registrations that I have on my plate. I was gonna go see a sports doctor for the annoyingly persistent muscle pain but i decided to show my mum my concentration of "mosquito bites" first (i thought i got attacked by an army of mozzies) and she got me to see a gp (and then a physician - mum's kiasu) instead.

So it's -oh the horror- darn shingles that I have D:D:D: both the doctor and the physician said i should avoid heaty food, no eggs, prawns and so on and so forth. Oh well I'd have hardly suspect that it's shingles anyway. Mosquito bites from training at kallang're frequent and aches're like part and parcel of training so :/

BY THE WAY, Shingles is caused by the Varicella Zoster virus which also causes chickenpox. The herpes virus that causes shingles and chickenpox is not the same as the herpes viruses that causes genital herpes (which can be sexually transmitted) or herpes mouth sore. -for my uninitiated sister.

I am all ready to crawl under my duvets but my hair's still drying, so - here I am.

My finger's still feeling sore from this morning's gym - when it got caught between the dumbbell and the metal. Now I've this whole red/black ugly bloodclot underneath my fingernail. Pain ):):

Anyway, I was told that visiting hours at SGH's two to five; and since I was there at one, I decided to stop over at the blood bank to donate blood. Right. So the first nurse poked the needle into my arm, and frowned. Then she left and came back w/ another lady whose tag read 'senior enrolled nurse'. The second nurse started, erm, adjusting the needle - like pulling it in and out. Then, she pulled it out and poked it in leftwards, waited, then pulled it out and inserted it rightwards. And she did this a number of times and asked if it was painful... (well it wasn't but i could totally feel the needle going in and out sheesh. i've a coin-size blue black now). Then both nurses decided that my blood was still flowing too slowly and they stood there rubbing my arm and adjusting the tubes and all .. until two more nurses came by and started talking to me @_@.

It was a very awkward period.

I was done at around 2.30pm and I made my way to the hospital block - to find out that their visiting hours're 12-2 and 5-8. @#$%! good jobbb. (there wasn't any visiting hours for icu so i didn't know ): ) And yes, I had to wait till five ):

Oh well that's all for now. it's been a long long day (yawns) i hope i can row properly tmw. goodnight world.

I feel, so sad. The kind of awful sadness that makes me feel like dying.

1. I am reminded every now and then of a recent stupid mistake I made and it's killing me
2. one of the few persons in the universe i'm capable of loving's undergoing brain surgery tmw
3. kallang's a dreadful place. idk what it is. the long bus rides or moving of the boat or the place itself. it makes me feel so depressed. the only time i feel ok is when i'm rowing race sets (and i came back from camp to read about all the slashing/ death/ chopped off fingers in kallang.)
4. i can't say i've been enjoying my holidays. i thought i'd be having much more fun training and playing
5. on a lighter note, marks and spencer, you're making me fat.

Seriously though. I don't know what I am doing.
But i do know what i want. To get away from everything here.

It's really nice that I actually enjoy studying for tmw's paper (i know right)

So much for elearning week, I've been in school the whole week for project meetings. And project meetings. And project meetings. Time outside school = working on my part for the projects pttf (trgs aren't counted) I actually thought of going for njcc and watching alice in wonderland oemgee i must be kidding myself. CRAP why did i even think of going for canoeing tmw fml.

I just travelled an hour to school to attend this silly, utterly useless briefing which lasted for a mere 20 mins (that's w/ the speaker trying to stretch the supposedly-an-hour-long briefing), and travelled an hour back home to discover I 'lost' my keys.
So I walked all the way to my grandmum's hse, only to find the keys inside my bag.. And yes, I walked back home. So it was not too long ago that a certain angsty, fed-up and irritated being left the streets. Freak. What waste of my day seriously. I woke up at seven it's two now and I've not accomplished anything except for one reading I manage to read on the bus.

Pttf. Chill, self, chill. Nap then study. Study study study ): Freak.

So i bumped into a friend at the bus stop yesterday.

Friend, "Why're you carrying so many vitasoy?"
Me, "It's for my team."
"You're in a team?"
"Yup. Dragonboat."
"Wow dragonboat very hiong right. Do you train once or twice a week?"
"Uhm..no.."
"Huh? You got no training at all?"

Hahaha xD I just giggled away my friend probably thinks dboaters don't train.

And today, the tutor made us do a round of self-introduction. So you had you say your name and something about yourself and people said stuff like they like to sleep and eat and play soccer, in the school's whatever club/team and whichever hall.

Me, "Hi I am Jasmine. I am in the school's dragonboat team."
Tutor, "Wow I am so impressed. You don't look like a dragonboater. Don't you need a lot of muscles!"
Me, "Uh well... ... i got muscles??"

And the class proceeded to laugh at me.
Hah. Whatever :)

Anyway, school has been pretty draining. I don't even have a feel-good module this sem ): I can manage tutorials and I do understand what's going on but they all seem so daunting to me. And everyone ard me's gonna go for a summer internship I don't know how to fit an internship into my schedule ): I don't even know what I want to do for an internship. (I'm probably not doing one this sem) :S The problem balloons since I'll be away for an exchange during internship application & interviews in year 2. FML ): Trgs used to make me feel stronger but I haven't felt that since school started. I feel more tired like I have to coax myself to go for trgs. Stressball ):
